Submission to the UNFCCC Secretariat

Abstract:
This report is the annual submission of the greenhouse gas inventory of the European Community to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol. It presents greenhouse gas emissions between 1990 and 2006 for EU-27, EU-15, individual Member States and economic sector.

This report was prepared on behalf of the European Commission (DG Environment) by the European Environment Agency (EEA) European Topic Centre for Air and Climate Change (ETC/ACC) supported by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and Eurostat.

Contributors from the ETC/ACC: The coordinating author was Bernd Gugele.
