Air Pollution by ozone in Europe in Summer 2002

The extent to which ground-level ozone pollution in summer (April - August) 2002 exceeded the thresholds where European Union legislation requires governments to inform or alert the public is shown in this report. The findings are based on a preliminary evaluation of data provided by 27 countries.
