How to submit or modify a model to the MDS

If you are a new model contributor, in order to obtain a username and password, please register by sending an e-mail to the MDS Administrator including your name, occupation, company/organisation/institute details and e-mail address.

To submit or modify a model, please, use the following procedure:

1. Enter the Model Editor.
2. Login by using your username and password (send an e-mail to the MDS Administrator if you require a new password or have forgotten your password).
3. Click on "New Model" for a new model submission (or proceed to the model's fill boxes by pressing the model's name).
4. Fill in all the boxes of your new model (or make modifications to the existing ones).
5. At the end of "Model Editor" page press "Submit Model".
6. You can then check your corrections through this "preview" page.
7. At the end of this page press "Submit Model" again.

Please note that your entries/changes concerning your model will no be published immediately at the official MDS page.
The publication will take place after the final review by the European Topic Centre on Air and Climate Change.
In the meantime, you can access your model by entering the Model Editor.
