Introduction
The European Topic Centre on Air Pollution and Climate Change Mitigation (ETC/ACM) is a consortium of 12European institutes, under contract to the European Environment Agency (EEA). The Netherlands Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) is the lead organisation of the consortium.
The Framework Partnership Agreement between EEA and the consortium runs from 1 January 2011 until 31 December 2013 (may be extended to 2014). The annual budget is about 2.2 million Euros, out of which about 0.2 million Euro is provided as national contributions by member states wherein the institutes reside.

Expert Group
An Expert Group of representatives of the largest partners meets twice a year covering (longer term) content issues within the Consortium.

Management Committee
The ETC/ACM has a Management Committee that meets (at least) twice a year and monitors content- and financial progress made within the consortium. The Management Committee consists of the contact persons of the partner institutes and is chaired by Manfred Ritter (UBA-V). The ETC/ACM Manager is Secretary. The Management Committee meets periodical with EEA managers relating both content and management issues.
